January 2014 - March 2014
Avalanche Gaming was founded in January 2014 under the name Inverse eSports by Harry "Harry" Hooper, Shaun "Ducky" Philipson and James "Greeny" Greenwood. Within a very short time, many players/members had already changed their Xbox Live Gamertags to 'InVerse' followed by their name, therefore stating their outright commitment to competing under the new organisation. At the time, there was a 3-tier team system with team 'A' , team 'B' and team 'C' making up the organisation which at the time still mainly played the old Call of Duty in the form of Call of Duty: Black Ops ll. The website for the organisation was inversesports.weebly.com and the website is still up today. The 'A' team was Harry, Greeny, Vexzy and Fatal while the 'B' team consisted of Ducky, Ecko, Adapt and Spazze. The 'C' team, however, experienced several team changes meaning the team couldn't consistently play together and improve. William "Khuna" Coram was the captain for the 'C' team and played alongside players such as Pozah and Bolltz in a good yet inconsistent team. During the month of March, Greeny decided he wanted to move his competitive career forwards and that meant starting to play the new Call of Duty in the form of Call of Duty: Ghosts and leaving his old team-mates like Harry and Ducky behind. He began to play Gamebattles Doubles matches with a former player for old rival team Node Gaming ( Josh "Chaosz" Girdharie ) for a few days and then decided to bring back the Inverse eSports organisation under the name Avalanche Gaming.
April 2014 - June 2014
While Greeny and Chaosz carried on playing Gamebattles Doubles matches, the old 'Inverse' players eventually separated and joined different organisations. Ducky (now known as 'Plasma') joined DeFi Gaming while Harry and Adapt ( now simply known as 'Benn' ) joined Admin Gaming. Meanwhile, back at Avalanche Gaming, a new website was made by the name of avaesports.weebly.com before quickly changing name to avalanchegaming.weebly.com . Chaosz and Greeny had now reached well over 200 Gamebattles Doubles matches and were building real chemistry. At the same time, Avalanche Gaming was beginning it's first partnership/sponsorship deals with both Omega Creators and No Scope Glasses. Although Chaosz and Greeny enjoyed playing Doubles they knew soon enough they would need to find another two players if they were really going to earn Avalanche Gaming 'organisation' status. Attempts were made to find two other great players to team with but the team's never clicked. By the start of June, Chaosz and Greeny had over 200 Gamebattles Doubles wins and had picked up a third sponsor/partner in the form of Premium Website Creators. On 22nd June, Chaosz and Greeny played in a game vs Synerqy and Recz of eG which resulted in the four players joining up to play as a team. The team played very well together and by the end of the month of June, the team's Gamebattles Team record was an impressive (for a new team) 25-13! The new team was a huge success and within days of teaming Synerqy and Recz had officially joined Avalanche Gaming!
